# Element HTML id Attribute

In order to enable "Download Canvas", you'll need to add an HTML ID Attribute to a standard Bubble link element. Here are the instructions to do so:

1. Navigate to your app's "Settings" tab
2. Click the "General" Section
3. Check the box for "Expose the option to add an ID attribute to HTML elements" (see screenshot below)\
   ![](/files/ef8rMOUt4wCLkI01wW12)
4. On the design tab, add a Bubble link element to a page
5. Scroll to the bottom of the Link's element inspector and enter a unique ID attribute (see screenshot below)\
   ![](/files/2SMyPLKSqLH3wx8R8DXg)
6. This will be the HTML ID Attribute for the link element you've added to your page!

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://guide.techblocksco.com/useful-tips/element-html-id-attribute.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
